Fabian makes his film debut in this fun, old-fashioned tale, based on a popular book. Stuart Whitman & Fabian play two southern country boys who fall in love with  Dodie Stevens & Carol Lynley. Fabian also gets to put his fine singing voice to good use. Well directed by future "Dirty Harry" director Don Siegel. Fabian shows great promise in his role as Clint & it is easy to see why he became a popular pin-boy of his time. "Hound-Dog Man" is not an easy film to find, but if you do get a hold of it watch it, you will be pleasantly surprised. It is well worth it, just to see Fabian at his youthful best.
